CONTACT YOUR REPRESENTATIVES AND GOVERNMENT OFFICIALS
Your government may not like what you say, but they need to hear it. Personal letters, emails, and phone calls are tallied by lawmakers to guage public opinion. Do not hesitate to let your government know your opinion. Contact them frequently. You can bet the Progressives are doing it!

Right now it is critical for ALL Patriots to write our representatives to oppose the disastrous health care bill now being debated in Congress.
- Doug Lamborn is against the bill, but he is being pressured by the progressives, and he needs our support.
- Michael Bennet is for the government health care. He is vulnerable in the 2010 election and could possibly (but not probably) see the light.
- Mark Udall is the arrogant heir to a political dynasty. He is for government health care and not up for election until 2014. Weight him down with your opinions anyway.
The good old fashioned written letter via snail mail is the most effective way to communicate. There are so many mass emails that they have become largely ignored. Here are some talking points about health care, but use your own words to maximize effectiveness.
- There will be $400 billion in cuts to Medicare. This will be achieved by rationing care to seniors.
- The bill would end the Medicare Advantage program that provides a multitude of benefits to seniors such as hearing aids, eyeglasses and a multitude of benefits not covered by medicare. (AARP hopes to cash in from increased sales of their Medigap insurance.)
- The low fines and high costs of health insurance under this program will cause most young people to avoid insurance until they become seriously ill. This could result in the financial collapse of private health care insurance plans. To avoid collapse premiums will have to increase by $1,700 per family per year.
- The bill provides for a 40% tax on health care benefits from employers.
- Medical devices like pacemakers, heart valves, artificial limbs, and replacement hips and knees will be taxed.
- Those who pay 7.5% of their income on medical costs will no longer be able to deduct their premiums unless their payments reach 10% of their income – a tax on sick people!

Our goal is the peaceful overthow of Congress. Every vote counts. We must see that everone who shares our values is able to get to the polls.
WHAT CAN YOU DO RIGHT NOW?
The journey of a thousand miles begins with a single step.
- Call and write YOUR congressmen often to voice your opinions, concerns, disapproval, or even approval for what they may be doing right.
- Attend as many rallies in the area as possible to be part of a larger voice. Take your children.
- Discriminate where and how you spend your money:
- Give preference to family-run mom-and-pop businesses.
- Do not support businesses that do not reflect your values – i.e. cancel AARP, newspaper and magazine subscriptions.
- Drive less, pay less at the pump and the tax coffers.
- Live frugally. The less you spend, the less tax gets collected along the way.
- When you have the option, fight your property tax assessments. We are over-taxed at all levels of government, and they all waste your hard-earned dollars.
- Stock up on 6 months worth of supplies, food, water, money to sustain your family during hard times (encourage self-sufficiency rather than dependancy)
- Pray – it will be heard. Put as much positive energy into the universe as you can – to counteract the negativity. Spread LOVE to counteract the EVIL.
- Help others (you don’t need to register on any federal volunteer website to be able to help others) – we can all help each other all around us without being part of a “national service.”
- Listen more and talk less. We were given 2 ears and 1 mouth for a reason – we might hear something helpful to learn from.

- Check out www.congress.org to find your congressmen. Follow how the issues and how they vote.
- Don’t buy anything made by GE
- Don’t watch mainstream tv or news – they do not tell the whole story – turn off the tv or watch something else.
- Read the Constitution, and know what it means to you.
- (Come up with a recommended reading list, ie Liberty and Tyranny, Common Sense, etc)
- Stock up on incandescent lightbulbs while you can still buy them.
- Spread the word through email and discussions. Try to open up the eyes of those who do not see, but don’t force yourself on them. Stick to facts, no hate talk. Have you noticed how often the “left” resorts to name calling when they cannot produce an intelligent point? Devote 10 minutes a day to forwarding informative emails, spreading the truth.
- Check out http://www.uani.com/(United Against Nuclear Iran) – it lists companies that are doing business with Iran – don’t do business with these companies – make your voice heard with your (non)spending. (But I’m not sure about this one – it has an endorsement from GE)
- Go to Democrat and Republican meetings – find out what is being said.
- Investigate/google/watchdog some of the organizations that you keep hearing mentioned and promoted by the Obama administration. Follow the money. You might uncover more corruption or apply more heat to some of these corrupt organizations
- Educate yourself with truth.

- Be aware of your surroundings. Watch for and report unusual or threatening behavior.
- Wear a patriotic pin – let others know you are a Patriotic American.
- Call your child’s school and ask what if political material is being presented to them. Ask your school to bring back The Pledge of Allegiance to the school day. Ask the school to include the CONSTITUION in the course study.
- Support businesses that openly support LIBERTY. (Liberty Bistro)
- Be an example of civility – hold a door for someone, smile, lend a hand, be polite, speak positively, dispel the media myth of the angry-right-wing-mobster.
- Put up a flag in front of your home. Display a bumper sticker with a positive patriotic message, not a negative one.
- Learn about alternative medical choices. They are much cheaper and generally have fewer side effects than conventional allopathic medicine. Holistic, naturopathic, chiropractic, homeopathic, herbal, and acupuncture just to name a few. Check out the Whole in the Wall in Woodland Park for more information. Of course, none of these alternative therapies will be covered under Obamacare.
